About Whyke United Football Club
Whyke United Football Club was previously known as The Whyke Angels and was formed in 1972 by the founder Mr Edward Miles. Eddie along with parents who had young children that wanted to play a proper game of football set up the club on the Whyke Estate. Sadly Mr Miles passed away in April 2001 and we would like the club to flourish as a tribute to his memory and that of all the parents and committee members who have done so much for the club in the past.
Since 1972 the club has grown from strength to strength growing to include 11 teams from under 7's to under 16's, and is currently working towards achieving the Charter Standard mark from the FA.
